About Lost In Articulation

My name is Monique and I am currently doing a bachelor degree Chinese and International Relations as well as  a TEFL course in my spare time.  I am a long-time language enthusiast and so far I have studied Chinese Mandarin, French, German, Italian Japanese, Korean, Spanish and I hope to encounter many more in the future.

At the moment, my main focus is Mandarin but I still continue to learn and improve the languages I have previously studied in my spare time.  Due to my history with languages I wanted to create something whereby I can share my main interests like languages and that’s how I came up with Lost in Articulation (LIA).

I called it LIA because languages is a demanding and time-consuming hobby as well as a subject to study.  As an ongoing language learner I understand the struggles and successes of being eloquent in a foreign language and it’s not as simple as just memorising phrases.  It is a spiderweb of vocabulary, grammar and syntax.

LIA is not just about languages though, it’s about culture and culture is everything because it covers a range of topics.  LIA is beauty, cuisine, style and travel.  It’s everything I’m interested in.

Hope you enjoy the content xo
